That's right folks, Album of the Week is back after a three month hiatus with an amzing album by those legends of alternative metal (is that really a genre?), LostProphets.
Album of the Week: Start Something
Artist: Lostprophets
Year: 2004
Review
Start something is the second studio album by the Welsh band Lostprophets. Following the sound of Thefakesoundofprogress, and refining it, the band have created an awesome work of pure musical genius. With tracks such as 'Last Train Home', 'Burn Burn' and 'Last Summer' being released as singles, the album went platinum in under a year, and reaching fourth on the UK album charts. Start Something is an energetic powerhouse of distorted guitars and Ian Watkin's catchy, almost-screaming vocals. The whole album is packed with great songs, and no filler. I'd give it a solid 9/10.
